Heather and Rob 19/07/14

I was excited about photographing the wedding of Heather and Rob as it was an opportunity for me to photograph a lot of my friends, as we have a lot of mutual friends through the lovely game of poker.

This was how I met Rob. In a local pub playing poker, all be it not very well ;).  The couple were both pretty relaxed on the day and capturing photos of them both wasn't as difficult as some couples (due to camera shyness).

This was a renewal of wedding vows after 10 years of marriage which in this day and age says a lot. We then took a short drive from the registrar to Townley Park, the grounds here are stunning and the rain had stopped so we didn't need to get the umbrellas and wellies out :) from here we then travelled to the reception venue, The Thornton Arms, Burnley had been decorated beautifully in white and purple with amazing table settings.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day aside from the hot sticky weather, it couldn't make its mind up, rain, no rain.

I wish Heather and Rob a further 10 years of happiness (and not to much loss of poker winnings)
